The rubber grommet to gearbox is already mounted, see picture.
The speedo cable fits exactly for BMW:

Most times it fits also to BMW modells, because its only 20mm shorter like the original speedo cable:
R60/6, R75/6, R90/6, R90S,

R65GS, R80GS, R100GS,
R80R, R100R, R80G/S, R80ST, R80RT,
