Hi Bmw friends. Here is my 1978 R60/7 from the french GENDARMERIE. These model were ordered by the police force in 1976 to replace R60/6. The Gendarmerie specifically ordered r60/7 with RS fairing, spokes wheels, steering hardener and specific Gendarmerie blue in 1976. They were used for motorway patrol, presidential escort and day to day police work. They were quickly removed from the force because troopers were complaining about the uncomfortable driving position. The one was repainted and works fine with an unknown kilometrage. Benoit
